Farm crawls are an important aspect of Eat Local Huron’s mission, which is to create the connection between our community and local food producers.

Please join us for a beautiful day visiting some of the most spectacular farms in Huron County. The Fall colours will be brilliant – you won’t want to miss it! We look forward to seeing you!
CEDARVILLA ANGUS FARMS

The barn will be open for you to visit the animals, and farm tours will be available for you to ask the Klopp family any questions you have about their operation! The Klopp kiddos are hosting bake sale in support of the Terry Fox Foundation, and Bayfield Maple will be on-site for a pop-up.
Peter Mathonia will be performing live music from 10am – 12pm! Feel free to bring a lawn chair, stay a while, and enjoy.
WETH MUSHROOMS with BEACH BUM PASTA

See how mushrooms are grown with Ryan and Susan Weth, and how fresh pasta is made with Laurie Burdan from Beach Bum Pasta! Demos and delicious samples.
The Huron Clean Water Project (HCWP) will also be on-site! HCWP provides financial and technical assistance to Huron County residents and Community Groups to improve and protect water quality. The program is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, with over 4000 stewardship projects completed! HCWP staff will be promoting the program at the Farm Crawl and can help find a stewardship project that is the right fit for you!

The ultimate autumn activity has to be apple picking. Grab a basket from the farm store and head out to the orchard! Marlene from Bayfield Berry Farm is serving up delicious treats and snacks at the bistro – don’t forget to crack open a BBF cider and enjoy the patio to round out your farm crawl experience.
